BIOGRAPHY

Dear Lovers,

My name is Lexi Von West, a singer and songwriter from Melbourne Australia, now living by the sea on the Gold Coast.

I began performing from a very young age, starting dance lessons when I was 4 years old, where I fell in love with the glitz and glamour of the stage. I’m inspired by the interactions with those around me, with most of my songs a reflection of my love for the people in my life. I’m finding I’m also gravitating towards concepts of ‘irony’, transforming taboo topics into light hearted entertainment.

My favourite song writer might be a surprise to some, sitting with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and my all time favourite vocalist the one and only Stevie Nicks.

Throughout my teenage years you’d only hear me singing Pink or the Veronicas, these days you’ll catch me at the bar dancing on the table belting out Shania Twain and Miley Cyrus, or performing dance routines to Britney Spears.

Don’t be fooled though, underneath the red lipstick and heels there is also a heavy hardcore metal persona, with some of my biggest inspirations being Parkway Drive and In Hearts Wake, as well as pop punk band Tonight Alive.  All of these artists have driven me to pursue my music, and find my love for entertaining people.

In January of 2022 I made a vow to myself to begin actioning my desires to create music for the world to hear, where I took the leap and reached out to a producer to record my first song, bringing you Girls Next Door. Since then, I've released multiple songs, joined record label R4A Music, had incredible support from radio with the release of Hurricane, and am sincerely grateful for the journey I am on, building my dream.

So what's next for me? A commitment to you as the listener, to continue to bring my most authentic self and show up with love. Thank you for being here with me.

I look forward to creating new music for you in 2024 and for the rest of eternity, endeavouring to bring a stage show full of charisma, class, and of course a drop of chaos in the near future.

With love always,

L. Von West
